I still wonder why he was standing exactly at the end of the double yellows.

It could be North Shields, or even Jarrow, where I lived for a couple of years. About the only new things I see fromm 40 years ago are the double yellow lines and parking restrictions! Even at screen resolutions the character of the Leitz 35/2 comes through. Lovely range of tones. I so appreciated your advice to Gayle and dropped by to say "thanks."

Yeah, my 1999 was a bit like that too... so were 1994-1998, too, as I recall... LOL... really enjoying this set of b&w English scenes.
