Very nice atmosphere you create here Cessy. One thinks that the woman will continue after the peir as in a dream as said Joe.
Nice pov too.
Congrats for this beautiful composition.

Great perspective angle and the use of the human presence as of telling a story.
Super work.

Wonderful creation Cessy - the selective coloring works wonders in creating a surreal atmosphere. The perspective, the pier trailing off - all add to the mystery; great work!

Very nicely composed, and an image that causes one to think and wonder what was going on there, Cessy!
Well done!
Dave.

Now Ms Karina, how should I express the joy to come across your path in here? I guess I've met you before somewhere else, right? I love the way you built this image and the ways it strikes and wakens up our imagination. She's heading to the light without hesitation because she KNOWS there is nothing beyond light to be feared. You know this would have also been good in black & white, perhaps even better, since there's already no colour and the subject lends itself perfectly for a timeless atmosphere. See you soon, around...

Be well

Wonderful how the scene disappears in the mist!

Mary Slade   {K:40918} 9/30/2006
A great image on the edge of a dream. Wonderful perspective and colour use.

rebecca claassen   {K:16443} 11/7/2006
Cessy, the young lasy in this image looks so detirmined! Her journey to the end of the pier looks as tho' it will never end, although we can see the end of the pier, it is as if she does not.
Fantsatic moody feel and great composition, great work.
cheers, Bek
