Yeah, the scraggy tree in the foreground provides the perfect balance to the massive rock, Roland.

amazing! no matter what the color of the sky or the
sand is,looking at the perspective you chose,the standing of both the rocks and the dead tree suggests the beauty of this wild scenery.
Cool choice for b&w.

Great shot, some people would say that this is too contrasty, but I like the sharp details and vivid contrast. This is a grainy picture.
Let me see, to grainy, very contrasty and probably oversharpened. I like it!
