Hey, Michael, you should add a tool to your chest: Digital noise removal. There are software applications (Neat Image, Noise Ninja) that only does one thing, and does it very well: removes noise from jpeg artifacting or from pushed ISO.
I use Neat image, and there's a free version if you don't need this clean-up often.
Nice framing.
