About From Sir John Betjeman's poem: "A Subaltern's Love Song".

My nephew here would take a dim view of this title...he was playing football.

good morning friend [its morning here now] I am not sleeping ;)
liked it... :) i wish you could include the right hand into the frame :) just a nitpick :)

Anthony Lound   {K:6586} 7/4/2009
Kris - thank you. My goodness, you are so spot-on about the missing right hand. It was a candid shot and his right hand would have made this a lot better. It's no surprise to me that you immediately noticed this defect, for you have a wonderful sensibility. One of those lost moments, alas :(

Given my poor people work, I'm rather happy with this picture tho', as is his Dad!

Many thanks,

Ant

Thank you very much Gaines! I am rather embarrassed given my outspoken words on the subject of your recent image. I have clarified my clumsy comment.

My best to you,

Anthony

Dear Antony,
We am in so many on UF, is difficult immediately to understand him! for this it is always important to explain...
and I am happy to have explained my thought..
Thanks a lot of Antony,
The best wishes for a good light on all of your visions!! :)))
Ciao,
Gianes

I hope you are kidding Anthony. You should be happy with this one. This is such a good capture of the moment. He looks like he's having a great time.
If you want to see poor 'people' photography, see my usefilm. You don't see people there for a reason. People photography is an art all it's own.
I admire those of you that can do this kind of thing. I leave people, cultural and architecture images to those that have a good eye. I live in a fog Anthony................. I literally pray for fog and no people when I shoot.

Thank you Randy! I love your wit. Yes, you are a master of misty landscapes and I find your style compelling, persuasive and completely appealing. By contrast, I'm a Jack of all Trades...

Warm regards,

Ant
