About I ambushed my room mate while he was hanging out at our kitchen table. This was the first negative out of my first 4x5 camera.

not bad for a first....keep it up......more modeling with the lighting and watch the hair detail and the shirt.....all in all nice job Pete.

.. well, the kitchen is right next to my bedroom where I keep all my gear. I grabbed my tripod & view camera with one hand, and a light stand & umbrella in the other. It took just under a minute to take the picture, and he commented that he felt a bit ambushed by the whole thing. :)

Ooooo...I love the clarity of this. My room mate just bought a Calumet 4x5 view camera...can't wait to get back to work (off after foot surgery) so I can afford to get some film for it! I've GOTTA try this! :) Nice shot. I was thinking the same thing as Vlad when I first saw your description of it. I thought only Superman could move that fast. *grin*
