i see what you were trying here and i really like it!! it looks like it is really the edge... it looks great, but i think it lacks something, i really cant tell what, maybe the angle, the framing or the subject of interest, i don?t know, but i really like it this way i just think that this concept could be improved very well... nice shot!

To me, the best part of the photo is the colourful woman in the midst of a very hazy, dreary scene. I think an angle where the woman was more prominently featured would be better - and I think it could be done in a way where the vastness of the beach and water remains intact. For now, cropping the bottom of the photo and eliminating all the extra sand might produce the same effect. :)

The only things that I could find, after looking at this image for a while, to make it better would be these:
It would have been better to have the horizon perfectly level in the photograph...And then the bits of trash on the sand to disappear. Other than that, something that you can rarely help before shooting something that intrigues you... I love it. I think the brightness of the woman on a gloomy beach says something. And the birds gathered around her make it even neater. Good work!
