I do not have experience in portrait and I am not able to create such portraits like you but according to me the topic of an angel is very dangerous. Why? It is very easy to create picture which is pretensional and "postmodernist" ;) Did you manage to avoid it? I cannot answer this question.

Thanks all for the feedback. The print has more detail in the wing (jpg compression problem), not a lot but more than you can see here.
Andrew, yes I realize how lucky I am. ;) I haven't seen her in probably 2+ years and she came up from Miami to hang out and catch up and saw my prints on the wall and that was that. She really was a natural. I got a few more great photos for her first time but I can't post them on Usefilm. :(
Lukasz, your comment has really made me think. Thank you. Could you explain a little more what you mean?

However, with all the black, pumping up the light might have made her beauty "pop" of the background...
