You really have to build yoursely a 50mm macro addon lens! With your camera and telent you would get definitly get fantastic photos! :)

-Thanks for your comment on my Moon picture. Hre's the thing, I am very new to picture taking. However,I am very comfotable with my scope, so holding my new camera up to the EP came as a natural. You mentioned multiple exposure stacking. I really have no idea how to do that. Some guys in our Astronomy group are doing some amazing things with pictuers, but I'm at the beginning of all that. Some day, I'll get a lesson from one of them. I'm not ready for that just yet.

EQ platform is something I have allways wanted to build but didn't find enough time. In the meantime, I have started precessing data from the really large telescopes (Palomar, SDSS) with mag. range of 16-20 so a part of me lost interest in amater astrophotography. I still enjoy looking through eyepiece, though. :) There are people from our local astro. society that take really wonderful pictures. Take a look at Boris Stromar's images here on Usefilm.
