wonderful shot David, the soft lighting is perfect, I love the intense look, she is deep in her own doings, the best time to catch them at this age, very special shot. My only complaint is... I dont have one :) its just about perfect Thanks for your comment... Marcus...

Superb. A nice pose, excellent lighting (I guess you darkened the UL corner in postprocessing). A great moment.

Hi Chris,
thanks for your comment. Yes I "adjusted the light" with a double sided gradient that is aligned diagonal to make the upper left and lower right corner darker. It kind of creates a diagonal light beam across. When you look at the thumbnail you can see it pretty clear. I often use gradient selections to manipulate my photos (both colors and brightness).
thanks again to everyone for their feedback! It is much appreciated.

thanks Matej. What you said is very much how I felt when I saw my daughter sitting there with her game. It is always fascinating to watch her being completely in her own world. I could sit there and watch her for hours. My own eariliest memories only go back to when I was 4. She is only 2. I would really like to know what is going on in her mind. It is probably very different from the way we adults think :)
