too cute! Nicely seen and captured. Great in b/w. Well done!

Mort Gage   {K:2747} 8/24/2005
adorable...what a wonderful gift to this little girl's parents!

Kathy Hillard   {K:25721} 8/24/2005
So cute, Tracey! Looks like she's getting ready to be in a wedding! Well captured!

You've captured a nice moment here; it's great that the girl is completely unaware of the camera (or anything else in the room!). Maybe crop some of the wall out on the left hand edge?

Wow, love this and love the title! Well done!

This unaware moment is so cute! I love the title you've given this, it adds to the story... your wedding photography is so beautiful, I'm having a lovely time enjoying looking at them.

your black & white tones are incredible - tell me about your conversion... love this shot.

Tracey MacLeod   {K:3244} 8/29/2005
Thank you for all the grea compliments! as far as conversion... this was shot in all natural window light (which is my favorite to shoot the bride in for starters! We all have our favorites... but that's mine!) while I was waiting for the bride I saw her peering out awaiting her arrival! and the girl you can partially see on the right is her sister keeping a close eye on her! most of it is the way I shot it and I did a little burning like the outside edges to make her the sole focus without loseing the detail or story behind it!(left wall and right side of older sister and a wee bit of floor beneath) I like the details!!! (the grated mat beneath her her sister's primpted clothing and the fact she's a little wrinkled!!! and I also have a thing about little bows! It was just her sweet demure that caught my eye!

hi tracey - i was actually asking about how you converted your color shot to black & white....
or was it taken in b/w ?

Tracey MacLeod   {K:3244} 8/30/2005
No all my weddings are in color and converted to B&W ~ Sepia etc in Photoshop!

Dina Marie   {K:-1006} 8/30/2005
hi tracey -- so HOW do you convert to b/w ? desaturate ?? lab color?
