Amazing dof and beautiful light!
I don't know much about the lens & 'tubes'...are they hard to use? Fantastic results!

The lens, Pancolar Carl Zeiss 50mm is a really old lens, but with supreme quality, everything is manual, but with the tubes is the only way to do it. The combination is a great macro lens (as you see, and is not a detail - ok I did square the image - but the detail up close is incredible, see attach)
I bought the lens with screw mount for around $30, the extension tubes with screw too $8, and a adapter for screw mount to EOS $15.
You will need a tripod, as camera shke is a no, no, but definetly good fun!! - and cheap. If you want more info/help just drop me a mail!
