About Yes Sir, she is the 'one' who was thinking to plant that . . . !
"I am not assuming, I DO BELIEVE so Sir" the disguised officer told to his disguised superior.
"But Sir, I am a gardner" said the poor woman "I ALWAYS plant".

I understand Kambiz, maybe you could share one with us also? I know at times UF users get crazy with these dramatic shots, but that is what good photography does to viewers, and means you have done you job well!

Thank you Marcus for your comment.

Good one. Something of a 1930s quality to the scene, I think.

This looks more like England (with those bowler hats) than the US or Iran... Many stories could be written around this photograph.

Roger Williams   {K:84106} 8/1/2006
You're right, of course. I only remembered from your very interesting account of your early life that you were born and brought up in Iran, went to the US for higher education, and then returned to work in Iran. I had no recollection of a time in the UK (those bowlers are a dead giveaway). I usually read "abouts." I shall be careful to do so next time, that is if you start posting to Usefilm again.

Terry Lacey   {K:9907} 8/2/2006
Photojournalism? What a crock! What scares me is the number of Posts you have in this Thread praising this misleading, chimerical piece of absolute Garbage Kambiz. Shame on everyone who Posted accolades in this Thread.

Terry Lacey   {K:9907} 8/2/2006
At least I have a shred of decency and honesty.

Maria Herkenhoff   {K:500} 8/2/2006
That`s the way the story goes...
Glad she is alive in this photo, next one she could be dead...like our JEAN.
Nice concept.
Take care,
Maria

Hi Kambiz K,
Replying to your question,
the tragic death of Jean Charles de Menezes is shorter writtem above:
Jean Charles de Menezes (7 January 1978–22 July 2005) was a Brazilian electrician living in Tulse Hill in south London, United Kingdom. Menezes was shot and killed at Stockwell tube station on the London Underground by unnamed Metropolitan Police officers. Police later issued an apology, saying that they had mistaken him for a suspect in the previous day's failed bombings and acknowledging that Menezes in fact had no explosives and was unconnected with the attempted bombings.
Take care,
maria

Depth of View makes amazing things. Here because of it and perfect timing it looks almost like they are questioning her. Person in uniform behind doesn't care about her. Cool thing ist that she could be key of event that they are looking at now.
I was stopped by police and security personel in DC, USA multiple times while making images on bridges, Railroad Stations, near Government buildings. I never had problems after explaining who I am (amateur photographer) and why I shot (to get nice images). They juyst asked me to avoid shoting security equipment and personel. No problem.

Kambiz, life is crazy. But we still need to live and enjoy.

I have iranian friends here. Great coworkers. I also have sister with her family living in Israel. Wish World could be safe for everyone.
