I love it!
What a wonderful photograph John. I love the whole concept that you have captured and the way in which you have taken this photo of straws. Such a common item with a unique twist. It is such a unique idea, with so much creative oppotunites.
The colours and the angles in which are expressed in your photo are great and with the close up it adds more intrest to this image.
Keep up the wonderful work John.

This would do fine in a VERY large format I guess, I´ve seen this type of consept before and I think u have done a great job with it. I would personally have dropped the red frame border tough. Maybe tilted in a landscape mode would do as well?

A HUGE shot in your long-running series, John! This one has great impact and has most deservedly been awarded. I would perhaps prefer it rotated 90 degrees anticlockwise, mainly so that I didn't have to scroll up and down... But the angle of the straws also seems conducive to this rotation.
