Jeanette, you are truly and inspiration to the rest of us. This has to be one of the best peices of abstract art I've seen. And what an imagination you have, turning something ordinary into something extraordinary-the title fits perfectly. The way you have positioned the main focus in the image is just perfect. Red is such a strong and beautiful color to work with-which is why it happens to be my favorite one. Excellent image, straight into my favs~

Vision is what you possess, Jeanette.
It is what sets you apart from so many others who search for the sublime image.....masquarading behind the mundane, and seemingly abstract palletes.
Understand and embrace the gift that you have... Speaking only for myself, I strain to see or discover these magical treats. . . only to come up empty handed, and frustrated. YOU, on the other hand, seem to find them under every roofs eave, behind every empty barrel, hidden in every shadow. You find the yummy little gifts of color. You find the innocent shapes and SEE them take on a new shape, a new form, a new life. And then, I'm sure that you gracefully go "snap".....and you turn all of us ON.

This image is stunning! The crop forces the white splash off the image, as if it's on another surface above the red...taking the swan with it. More likely due to the combiniation fo textures. I could go on and on, but I see that nearly 200 people have said what I will just add to, and that is.. it's the sadest, most lonely swan I've ever seen. Very good 'squinty-eye' picture.
