I can only speak from my own viewpoint as a moderator. There were several moderators on the site, it was understood that we look at the site when we can, so by having several people chances are that someone is monitoring what's being posted at some point. All of us have busy lives and can't be here 24/7 as some are demanding. We are also VOLUNTEERS, not being paid. I am doing what I can on my slow dialup connection, and am deleting nasty comments whenever I see them, as well as some of the misconceptions and untruths being told. We also have limited editing powers. I only know who a few of the other moderators were, most of them choose to remain anonymous because of the nasty untrue accusations made about us. In a perfect world people would act like adults and not indulge in some of the childishness we've seen here lately, but unfortunately, it goes on, and it is this that has led to a lot of "moderator burnout" and many moderators just leaving the site. You won't hear from most of them, JT and I were "outed" a long time ago, so we have become targets for unhappy people. Most of the time things are friendly and civilized in here, but once in a while the gangs act up and the silliness snowballs. Best thing for most people to do is just ignore the nonsense and not give the culprits an audience.
Certain times of the year it is just coincidence that moderators all have other things to deal with, so some inappropriate postings go un-edited. I do hope that you continue to enjoy the site and ignore the negatives, there are hundreds of nice people on here who will give constructive feedback, and many whose photography inspires all of us.

Thanks for your reply Chelsea, I know how difficult moderating can be as I have done that in the past. So you don't need to justify yourself. I enjoy the site very much and will continue to use it. I am just unhappy with some of these horrible posts from one person aimed at one other member. In the normal world this would be called harassment and bullying. I do hope whoever the moderators are, that they will stop this.

Dear John, there are a lot of people into very bad sort of things on UF, they do this so they can have the chances not only to hurts other but also to give each others all sort of comments, ok, this is up to the person to give himself a comment what ever he like but the system should pay attention to the members when they bring things like that out.

As I can't read Arabic I can't determine what's being written there.
If a specific comment is offensive, please provide a translation.
If English were required here that wouldn't be a problem (as we'd just delete everything in any other language we came across and couldn't read) but other languages are allowed so we can't be that heavy handed.

Those comments are indeed in arabic Rashed so I cannot understand why you want to attack the above reply. I have always defended you here against a lot of unwarranted abuse, quite rightly, but when you are writing such harsh words against other people I cannot defend you in this case. I gave you some advice which was to just calm down and those people against you will soon get bored of their childish behaviour, but it seems like you want to cause an argument - calling people ignorant and fools is not the way to win your argument or the correct way to put your point of view across (especially as the reply above seems perfectly acceptable to me). This is my last post on the matter as I didn't want to get involved in any politics here so I'm going just go back to posting my images and welcoming any comments, good or bad.

Brother there was nothing in arabic, it was saying fak u and fake ur mother, things like that , thats not arabic, brother it was broken English but not arabic at all.
How others did read them here if they are arbic and they reacted on them, you did read many of them on images, what I mean Reems comments, this is was I was refering to, not any other comments, unless there were some where else.

There is obviously a misunderstanding but you are not doing yourself any favours by attacking other people on here. That's my last word on the matter.

brother this man never had any comments on my images at all, he was given arabic comments to only 3 people on the site, I did not refer my post on this man but on Reem, Riny Nichols, Srna all have seen how bad reem comments on my images, they are beyound any who could except them, those comments went direct to me as person and to my mother also ?
How many time you has some one attackng your mother on one of your photographs, brother ?
