  Q. TOYO OPTICS AUTO TELE ZOOM 1:4.5 80-200MM LENS question...
Asked by josh fairwell    (K=25) on 10/17/2009
I just acquired a "TOYO OPTICS AUTO TELE ZOOM 1:4.5 80-200MM LENS" and I went looking around to see if it any of my cameras. Well I have a Canon AE-1 and I found a site selling them together, so I figured, "Yay I can use it on there" I goto put it on, and it fits in but doesn't lock into place. I don't know if there is a problem with the lens, or if there is a problem with the operator [me], or I need a converter.

Please help, frustration is beginning to get the better of me and I want to figure this out.

Also, if this helps at all, on the lens it says "MC" so I don't know if that means anything. On the lens I have on the Canon AE-1, in that spot it says "FD" so I don't know if that is the mount type or what... please please help.

Thanks in advance

I may have figured this one out on my own. . . I need a MC-FD converter. Am I correct? A quick yes or no would be nice just to let me know. And so I don't have to bother you with silly questions ... for a lil while at least
