  Q. Viewfinder for 15 mm Sea&Sea
Asked by Erich Tagwerker    (K=0) on 7/4/2005
Hello,

I just bought a Sea&Sea 15 mm lens for my Nikonos V. Now what viewfinder should I go for?

On eBay I saw a (more expensive) Multi-Viewfinder MVF (by Sea&Sea) and a cheaper model (also by Sea&Sea, for MMII or Nikonos) which is to be used with little frames (for 20mm/28mm/35mm; no frame for 16mm).

What is the reason for the higher price of the MVF? Is the quality substantially better?

Thanks for your advice!

Erich

Hi,

The cheaper model is nothing more than plastic with some removable/changable screens. I believe it is not worth the money.

Sea&Sea's hi-optic finder is a very high quality piece of optics. I know its a lot more expensive, but it worth every penny.

Trust me on this one, I had both. :-)

Bob,

Thanks a lot! I will invest a little more then.

Cheers, Erich
