  Q. mamiya 645j help
           Asked by K Keaveny    (K=20) on 1/23/2006
Hi All,
I was hoping you can help me. I recently purchased a mamiya
645j from ebay, just got it today- I noticed there isnt an iso setting on the body - any clue? how do I set my film speed?!/?

Thanks!

You don't have to set film speed. Simply use sunny 16 or an external light meter. use the film reminder so you know what you are shooting. The prism does have a film speed indicator.

Did you get your mamiya with a prism or "chimney" ? :) I assume either one has happened - with the prism lacking metering - you don't need any ISO setting - since it's strictly for metering purpose. With the the "chimney" is understandable "per se" :) I assure you that Mamiya AE prism HAS the ISO knob. :)
