Richard,
Do you mean the Kiev 60? The 80 mm standard lens is superb. However I cant say the same about the other lenses (I tried a 45mm and a 150 , both were crappy to say the least, but that was in the early 90s). Its such a beautiful package though and well executed. Back then there were no great lenses pther than the 80mm standard. So, I replaced it with a Rollie TLR (Yashicas are also excellent) much lighter and (but the 80mm planar on the rollie and the 80mm arsat on the kiev had identical quality to my eyes). But for the price I think the Kievs are unbeatable. Also I think Kiev cameras have been stocking better lenses for the Kiev line and also have better cameras (like the 88 with MLU) than a decade ago. I had one problem back then, the battery in the metered viewfinder was a non standard bizzar russian battery. I think nowadays you can use standard ones.
