Q. Bronica SQ A1 AE III prism finder problem

I bought a 2hand AE III prism finder for my Bronica SQ A1 camera. It does not work, it only blinks '500' if I push my shutter-realeasebutton half way (which means the metered light is outside the range of metering) in the AE and M and in Av And Sp mode. I cleaned the contacts, put new batteries in my camera, tried different times and F's, with differnt ISO settings on both my backs, with different lenses. What do I do wrong??
