  Q. Enhancement advice
Asked by Dave Arnold    (K=55680) on 9/16/2006
I have been asked by a client to "enhance" a bunch of photographs of a street in order to bring out any potential marks that may be present. The client believes somebody has already done this and found something in the photos, even though I know better.

I have worked on a few of the photos already, using varying degrees of levels and contrast in PS. Nothing has popped out yet. So I ask any of you PS users for any advice in enhancing these photos. I just want to make sure that I am thinking of everything posible to bring out something in case it IS there.

Thanks in advance

Dave

I wonder, are they photographs? From negatives or digital files? If they are prints from negatives then ask for the negatives & scan at a high resolution or shoot copy negatives of the prints. Copying brings higher contrast which will sometimes show hidden impressions within photographs.
