All depends what do you want your camera for. There´s a set of cameras for each group of tasks. What´s yours? I See some macro and landscape in your portafolio. Would you like it to point & shoot, or do you want a bunch of features on it to manually operate it?

Hi… Canon Power Shot S5 IS and Nikon P80 is a good choice… I would recommend Canon powershot S5 IS .. I recently bought one for myself.
While researching I came across this
http://www.checkcost.co.uk/digital-cameras/c/4368/
Canon PowerShot S5 IS Digital Camera is a compact and portable digital camera with the ultra-powerful 12x optical zoom with 8.0 mega pixel and Face Detection Technology and extensive movie options. I believe there is simply no better way to capture your memories than with the Canon Power Shot S5 IS Digital Camera. Read the reviews provided in the link to have better idea

The best way to determine what camera you want to buy is to go to some stores and look at all of them.
See if they're comfortable to hold, can you reach and use all buttons easily?
Is the layout logical, or do you need to dig deep down into some menu or press a lot of buttons simultaneously to get to some function you need?

Try to compare the camera ratings. I'm sure it will help a lot.

Good luck.
