  Q. 5D mark II vs. EOS Mark II
Asked by Andrew George    (K=340) on 1/28/2009
Just wondering on which everyone thinks would be a better buy?

For the vast majority of people, either is overkill.

5D Mark II (or just the 5D), then you can use all of the superior Full Frame Canon "L" lenses and also go backward compatible with full frame Canon film bodies - EOS 3 , etc if you ever want to work with film in the future...... This is why "Full Frame" is the only way to go....EVER - Versatility......
Come on Jeroen, be nice (full discloser) - Jeroen hates Canon, Loves Nikon. I think Nikon only recently came out with a "Full Framer"... they're both fine cameras/brands but FULL FRAME is what you wanna keep in mind (like vinyl vs digital sound -Records vs CD's - FILM may make some what of a limited comeback someday. Some purists still only use film - the original still picture art form (besides Painting and Sketching of course). Mark
