Only the electronic model got a digital back from Mamiya. But there are a few digital backs available in the market that can be fitted or used with any mechanical mediium format body. I did attend one marketing launch of a digital back, if my memory doesnot fail me it was from Leaf. The price quoted was very very high for us in Indian Rupees. Spending such an amount for a digital back where technology is moving at a very fast pace is quite irrational. Yes if some one is making a kind of money who write off the cost within six months time then it is really worth while.
The type of paid work I get and the end use of images by the clients, I find Canon 350D is pretty good.
