  Q. newbie warning; 300 PPI TIFF
Asked by Paula DiTallo    (K=5) on 7/3/2007
Hi. I need to convert some JPEG files to the above-mentioned format. I'm clueless! What do I need to do to achieve this goal? Thanks in advance.

300 PPI is just a setting in your software, check the manual. It's usually found near the resize/resample options :)
TIFF output is an export option in any decent image manipulation program, check the manual :)

I guess this is for printing at a print house for magazine or similar.

If this is the case you need to provide more information about your image, eg the camera and resolution of the camera and the size of the image when printed, then you can work out the rest using a formula.
