  Q. CANON 30D AND LEXAR CF CARD
Asked by ROD COSTA    (K=890) on 8/13/2007
Hello everyone.
I have a CANON 30D and a LEXAR 1GB CF CARD.The one with red and white sticker.i Believe 80x.
Ive had problems losing images.
I tried to download the firmware on Lexar support page, but didn't allowed me to because they said there wasn't any problem with my card.Which is of course not true.
Please, can anyone tell me how can I get the firmware and solve my image problems with Canon 30d and Lexar.
Thanks for your time.

I do know of one known issue with the 30D and that is opening the CF door while the camera is still writing data, you get no error displayed on the camera, but it corrupts the data.

It could also be a faulty card and the way it is writing it's data to the disk. CF is supposed to be one of the safest as it writes the data striped across the card, so even if a bit is missing it can reconstruct.
