Q. Using Sony Alpha100K with studio lights & strobes

Is there anyone here using Sony alpha 100 for studio work?

Is there a hot shoe adapter which I can use on my Sony alpha 100 camera along with a standard flash triggers, especially one that protects the camera from surge voltage and has a pc socket on it so you can plug directly into the pack via cord, or rather I should say, if it's got a pc sync cord plug that protects the camera from high trigger voltage like you find from the old packs.
