Asked by Howard Kennedy    (K=411) on 7/13/2007
Myself and top Scottish landscape/wildlife photographer David Beatson are running a workshop in Sutherland from December 1st-3rd. Katy_T will be modelling and attendees will have the chance to shoot Katy in some of the most spectacularly beautiful locations in Britain. In addition you will have the opportunity to learn from Dave's vast knowledge of Scotland's landscape and wildlife.

Wildlife common to the area includes:

Red Deer, buzzards, Golden Eagles, Roe Deer, Tawny Owls, Otters, Badgers, and a host of others. The area is also world famous for is geological features.

You can see some of Dave's work at www.beatsonphotography.co.uk

To attend this workshop you will need to be physically able, as the terrain can be quite rough.

Recommended equipment:

Lots of memory cards/film etc
Strong waterproof hiking boots or good wellingtons
thick boot socks
warm clothing (layers are much better than one thick item
waterproofs
gaiters

woolly hat

The price for this workshop is £250, which includes B&B accommodation for three nights. The workshop is limited to 10 places.
