  Q. camera clubs websites
Asked by Ciprian Ilie    (K=13215) on 5/10/2006
Dear all,

Do any of you belong to any camera / photographic clubs? If so, do they have a website?

I am looking for some inspiration to build a website for a camera club I belong to, and I would like to see what other people are doing.

Please post any urls here if you don’t mind.

Many thanks,
Ciprian

Ciprian, here is a link to the web site I built for my camera club, the South Bay Camera Club, which is located in Sourthern California.

http://www.sbccphoto.org

Now if I could just get them to use it, I would be set!

Phil

Dear Phillip,

So far this is the only url I've got.
I've gotta say it's a great website in my opinion, full of useful information with a great layout where everything is easy to find.

For some reason though, I am sure I have seen this website before, a year or maybe two years ago. Dunno how I would have come across it, but I did. Did you post the url anywhere on usefilm before?

Anyway I love the idea of the film strip at the top, going from the 35mil film canister to the compact flash card. That is very well designed and very appropriate. I might just want to "thieve" that concept off you.

Once again, thanks for replying to the post, looking forward to seeing some other websites.

Cheers,
Ciprian
