  Q. Gallery website (UK-based)
           Asked by Mike P    (K=25) on 12/2/2006
Hi, I have a website at www.michaelpead.co.uk/photography which has a collection of photos taken in London and the UK, as well as Europe and America. I'd be very interested in receiving any feedback on how to improve the site, etc.

Best wishes,

Mike

hi,site layout reminds me of an encyclopedia page which is a good thing since your photo site is a visual travel log.....nice supportive text to share info about the places...personally i don't care for the ragged edged border choice for your thumbnails, and rather surprised you chose them since you state that you don't use any PS editing for anything...thumbnails would look more polished/refined in my opinion if you just had thin black frames for each.....more of a simple gallery approach....

This is a good site to share work comments/critiques...a lot can be learned from the wealth of expertise and fine work uploaded here...leave critiques to others and receive some valuable feedback on your own work...enjoy usefilm!
regards,gayle

Doyle and Gayle,

Many thanks for your kind comments.

It's a good point actually you make about the edged borders on the gallery index pages - I will have a look at changing that!

Best wishes,

Mike
