  Q. The use of film-going going gone?

I see the up and up of digital every time I log onto the use film site pages. Has it become too easy to do digital. Does no one get the thrill of developing images any more or collecting the prints from the developers, to hastily flick through your efforts. I am not too up on the enviromental issues of the use of film versus digital-maybe one of the fellow members can enlightem me. I would like to think that we will retain the art of photography and not reprography as is now becoming the norm. This is not an anti-digital rant, but a attempt to retain the fell of photography that we all have experienced at one time. All comments welcome.
