This place is awesome for bird watching.
Besides the 3 species previously posted, I saw:
1) Oak titmouse
2) White-breasted Nuthatch
3) European Starling
4) Black-headed Grosbeak
5) Califronia Towhee
6) Bullock's Oriole
7) Hooded Oriole
8) Lesser Goldfinch
9) Western Scrub Jay
10) Anna's Humminbird
11) Barn Swallow
12) Mourning Dove
13) Brewer's Blackbird
14) Dark-eyed Junco
15) House Finch.
16) Black Phoebe
17) American Crow
18) California Quail
19) Red-tailed Hawk
20) Red-shouldered Hawk
21) Brown Headed Cow Bird
22) Steller's Jay
23) Green-Violet Swallow
24) Red-winged Black Bird
25) Western Blue Bird
26) Song Sparrow
27) Great Blue Heron and
28) Bewick's Wren
For a total of 31 species, and most of them can be photograph from the parking lot.
I will be visiting this spot many more times.
