Wow! Beautiful image Daniel! So sharp and what incredible colors, very well done my friend! I am impressed, if I low crawled I probably wouldn't be able to get up! Darlene

Puripaso One   {K:13956} 12/2/2005
Jajajaja, Darlene who said I got up. I waited for a Good Samaritan to help me!!! Jajaja. Every time I got closer they would move. This shot took almost 30 min to get!

I got up on my own but my arms are all scathed up!

lovely bird and composition. but speaking frankly i have to say that this whole series of birds is fine, but it is very far below the astoundingly high artistic level of your women portraits. here i can see a good document, ok, it is fine, but that's all. and there, unto the women, i saw great art, full of passion, love, beauty, power, inspiration, genius, showing a fantastic mastering of your tools and a full expression of your refined skill. these birds shots are all beautiful, but do not bear in the slightest a comparision with your portraits. sorry if i am too crude in my critique... but may i suggest that you treat these animals as you do with women?

This is an even more amazing capture. Fantastic definition of eyes and feathers! Unbelievable eyes and colors! I love the pair, too!

Ricardo,
Jajajajaja, Thank you for your comment! I will return to the ladies some day but for now I'm trying to learn a little about the birds. Then the bee's and then back to the ladies!!!

The real truth is that the ladies stress me out. They call at all hours, complain it's too cold or to HOT! Jajaja! It just got old. I will look around for some panties for some of the birds and blow your mind!! Jajajaja

Take care my friend!

ricardo longhi-frantz   {K:9648} 12/2/2005
hahahahahaha! well, i see your point heheheeh!! at least the birds do not stress anybody!!!! take care my friend, and keep moving!

Beautiful shot of the kestrel, the colors and detail are perfect, You must have gotten pretty close with the 300mm, I havent got a full frame this big of these guys as they fly at the sight of you here..
excellent..

Daniel - Beautiful sharpness and contrast. Take a look at Ray Vann's shot of the woodcock (taken with a 400mm prime).
