Nice work Thilo, he does seem alone and sad too..I like the rocks in the foreground leading the viewer into the image and the diagonal of the shoreline, well done my friend..I do think we need more projects, I had a hard time with my upload today too..at any rate it's a wonderful image as always!!

Andre Denis   {K:56532} 12/2/2005
Hi Thilo,
A nice moody, dreamy sort of image. I think I might have gone with the "Alone" project on this one.
Are you finding that Usefilm has been quite slow lately? It seems to take ages to download images and make comments. I thought it was something on my end at first, but other web-sites seem to be working okay?
Andre

It is a very intriguing concept. The dof and the man's body posture work very well together. What I like most after that is the subtly modulated color palette. Well done.

Best regards,
--George

Nicelow angle - argh, how many times have i said that to you know? .... but i like that angle and will continue with so - SO! Here it also make the mood stronger. His wonder over something, the relaxing moments close to the sea where both sounds and smell can overtake you! Fantastic!

Jeanette

Walter Scarella   {K:18052} 12/3/2005
Great effect, I like your idea to live out of focus the man, I think give more perspective and DOF. Congrats...Regards...Walter

Hi Andre,

yes, the alone project would be suitable as well.. =)

as for the speed: No, Usefilm is as fast or slow as ever for me.

best wishes,
Thilo

Hey Todd,

yeah, BW would be great as well, but at the moment, I have my reduced color phase =)

Great weekend!

Hi Paolo,

thanks for the suggestion. As you see, there are a lot of possibilities =)

BW: Yes, you're right, but I do some experiments with the color palette at the moment.

Hi Linda,

I'm not sure if more projects would be better. The problem is that I don't know the nature of some projects just by the name. e.g. "Photo help" hmmh?

Hi Thilo,
Sometimes it takes me ages to open and comment on an image. Today is quite fast. It is probably my server?

Me encanta la decisión de enfocar las piedras del primer plano, jugando con la profundidad de campo. Esto unido con la composición que has usado hace que la foto desprenda una atmósfera maravillosa. 7++
A mi me gusta en Paterns of nature.
Un abrazo amigo
kike
