Wow Howie, I havnt seen you post in almost a year! Its good to see you back!
Beautiful lighting on this one-sounds like it was a challenge. I really like it without the flash, has a really nice glow to it.

HE'S ALIVE!!!!!!! Howie! So good to "see" you! I saw your comment on my photo the other day but haven't had a chance to respond. Now I see this and.... WOW! It is like a painting or a scene from a movie. You really captured this moment amazingly! The lighting, colors and emotion are right on! Great work! So glad to see your work and I'm so glad to hear you are getting better. You must have really gotten that pnuemonia/bronchitis BAD! I was a little concerned about you considering last I heard you were ill.

Thanks for the comment and the welcome back Corrie :) Yes, it's been quite a while since I posted. I had a few problems with the Internet and after that, I sort of lost my inspiration for photography at the same time. I think the break did me good though and I'm now rediscovering my joy for photography :)

Thanks again Corrie :)

Howie

Thanks Melanie for the comment and also the welcome. I did suffer a lot with the Bronchitis and after that along with some email problems, I decided to take some time out from photography. I kind of lost my inspiration for a while. I think the break has done some good though as I now have the photography bug back :) Doesn't mean it'll make a better photographer though LOL.

Thanks again for the nice welcome :)

Howie

Howie, I have also lost the bug cosidering I BROKE MY CAMERA! LOL So, now I get my hands on my mom's camera every once in a while. It really stinks, but I know how you feel. My life is so hectic right now, even when I DO have a her camera I just hardly have the time to use it!

Anyway, I'm glad you got the bug back! I love your work and you are such a contribution to this site. I'm just glad you are well!

You did a great job of capturing this with the limitations you explain on not being allowed to use a flash! Excellent detail and color! Nice photo and thanks for sharing :)

Ohhh.. one of my all time favorite stories.. Well captured.. Yeah, taking pictures in the theater is a problem, I did face this problem when I attended some shows..
The result here is perfect.. I like it..
