Roger Williams   {K:82213} 12/5/2005
Whenever we wanted to buy something expensive, my father used to say "We'll have to wait until my ship comes in." I guess yours did, already! The quality of the light in this seems to me, from the perspective of Japan, peculiarly English, and quite beautiful.

Sergio  Cárdenas   {K:24821} 12/5/2005

Colin Cartwright   {K:15699} 12/5/2005
You should have taken a harbour shot up here, in Geordieland, Chris, with a title like that!
...thou shalt have a fishy on a little dishy, when the boat comes in...(sang in a broad geordie accent!)

The vivid colours, detail and fine composition. Good crop. I especially like the green of the water - very tranquil. The clouds have good contrast, also.

colin

A typical Spracklen ;-) Splendid colors, tack sharp, perfect crop and composition. And the sky, let me guess, has matched lighting and color temperature, but is implanted (?) One can never be sure...

Cheers

Carsten

Ahmed Ismail   {K:19853} 12/6/2005
The sharpness and colors are so perfect!! A great landscape shot!! Very beautiful Chris!

Richard Thornton   {K:26442} 12/7/2005
Hi Chris ?

I'm back for another go from scratch. I was a little tired of usefilm, but it's a good site with great people.

You've used your D70 well here to provide us with a classic, colorful travel shot. The lens's quality shows throgh even at this resolution. I have the 17 - 55 which I like alot. This gets good marks for color, clarity, information and even aspect ratio.

Gabriela Tanaka   {K:17991} 12/7/2005
Very beautiful view! From the green of the water to the blue of the sky, and in between...the daily life of a port-town.A lovely capture!
Gabriela

Chris Spracklen   {K:32552} 12/7/2005
This is the town I was born in, Bili.
About 800 metres from where I used to live as a boy!
My parents and brothers still there.
So do all of my wife's family.
Thank you for your kind comments, dear friend.
Best regards, Chris

Chris Spracklen   {K:32552} 12/7/2005
