Beautiful nightscape with fantastic detail! I love the outline of the large ship visually connecting the two buildings, and the red light reflections on the golden water. Great panoramic!

Yoshiyuki Tanaka   {K:13580} 12/9/2005
No tripod, ARMANDO! I forgot to take it with me!We were not planning, in fact, to stay so late. As a result it is a little blurry. We might try one more time, both of us, with tripods.
Thank you for the visit!

Although we've not met before on these pages, Mr. Tanaka, you're not my first UF friend from your beautiful country, which I had the privilege to visit in 1982,Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, Nikko etc., never, however, despite having seen golden palaces, have I seen your country so well repressented as in this lovely photo. It has everything. Composition, brilliant colors, reflections, old & new, you name it.
You are, of course, invited to read my bio & pay further visits to my portfolio.
I the meantime I thank you for your very generous, detailed comment on my "Window shopping."
Best regards,
Dr. Rafael (Rafi for future communications) Springmann

Yoshiyuki Tanaka   {K:13580} 12/21/2005
Thank you for the visit and very kind comments, Dr.Springmann. I am delighted that you have visited Japan, although more than 20 years ago....lots of changes have taken place and this project of the "new Yokohama " called Minato Mirai 21 (The Port of the Future 21st Century)was just at its very beginnning. Now it is indeed a pleasure to visit by day and by night.
Regards,
YT

Dr. Rafael Springmann   {K:86761} 12/27/2005
Although I know hardly any Japanese, I wanted to tell you, Mr. Tanaka, that we once had a camera called Ricoh Mirai and I wonder if Mirai means "new" in Japanese. Arogato, (I think this is "thank you" in Japanese)
Rafi Springmann

Yoshiyuki Tanaka   {K:13580} 12/28/2005
"Mirai" means FUTURE and "arigato" means Thank You!Very kind of you to try and use some Japanese.Wish you a Happy New Year and many beautiful shots ahead!
Regards,
YT
