About Whilst taking the dog for a walk its amazing what you can come across...this is a series of lakes near my home with some rather over priced houses on the shores. The main problem is that new and old industry is never far away as just behind the treeline are the obnoxious fumes from a paper mill. Nice location..shame about the stink..

Cheers

Kind of a 'beauty and the beast' landscape, Manu!
Great shot! It says it all!
Best regards, Chris

The sombre, understated colours work very well in this dark image. Many of my own photos, like yours, are taken while walking our Shetland sheepdog. I know the smell of a paper mill and I'll bet it doesn't STAY behind the treeline!

Hi Manu

I like the way you have divided the frame in two. Giving equal share to both the beautiful and not so beautiful.

Perhaps a longer lens and tighter crop to bring that contrast closer and giving it more prominence may have also been an option.

Mark.
