Hi Jara, this photograph is one of overwhelming melancholy. Great composition. Very moving.

On a different note, since you seem to be interested, check out http://uptogokyo.blogspot.com for our full account of the gokyo trek. i have a lot more photographs up there.

take care.

Terrific composition.
I like most of pictures of Suvo da and Jara Parijayee ( i dont know whether these are the pics of Suvomoy Mitra or not) for their uniqueness.
Expecting for more classic shots.
Regards
Partha
NB- Still not get the NOV issue of Jara Parijayee. Waiting for the same.

Wow!!!! :)

This is what they during the postmodern "era" would have called "ht empty space inbetween" ... and it surely are .... i have to fill in what she and he are looking at and thats great for my imagination. The dof are great too! :)

Very strong, Jara. I like images that require my time and attention to reveal themselves. This is one. The repetition of faces, very different from each other as we all are, yet sharing much (in this case position, angle of view, brown and grey tones, and of course, humanity)is especially appealing. I am enjoying your work, your photopoesy.
