Another simple, pleasing, abstract bird image. The circular water wave is a pleasant surprise, not seen on the thumbnail. I like how the reflection shows zig-zag patterns off the legs, and I like how you lose all extraneous detail with the high-contrast view.

Wonderful silhouette and lighting, very nice clarity. I notice you switch between the two cameras. Hey I got my new lens today and went to the zoo. Haven't really had a chance to go through all of my pictures yet but I had a ball with it!!

I really love having two camera bodies. This was the first chance that I had to use both and it really cut down on the number of lens changes that I had to do (it was so much easier). I also like using the telephoto lens with the rebel b/c the smaller sensor gives me more focal length.
I can't wait to see your images with the new lens. How do you like it so far?

I had a great time with it, but of course, still getting used to it..I'll be able to tell more after looking at my images but I loved the blur through the viewfinder!! Hopefully I'll have a new post soon and you can have a look..
