About Jennerwein ,maybe the world's most famous poacher, who in the 70s of the 19.century lived in Schliersee, was poaching not only from passion,but also because of bad social circumstances.He was shot from behind and after his death he became legendary as a romantic hero and victim...

I think this is the only fountain made in memory to a poacher!

Sorry,I could not find an english site ..for understandable reasons..as he may be of no interest for everyone who does not know the little village Schliersee.
