great composition, with an extraordinary background!! what a light!!! amazing and delightful! it's a piece full of symbolism: the cross in the darkness and the tree of life in great light.... many thougths from this couple.... well seen and done!

Thanks for posting this, Carsten. At this time of year our thoughts turn to the welcome birth of Christ but it's good to be reminded of what it cost Him to come... The delicate tracery of slide-lit branches is a beautiful frame.

Hi Carsten,

I guess the perspective is the inpiration and the driving factor of this image. Plus the clarity and the detail in the image. the sharpness almost hurts in my eyes. great shot!

best wishes,
Thilo

PERFECT. Great shot!

Alison Du Flon   {K:35633} 12/11/2005
Amazing detail Carsten, what wonderful perspective. I love how the branches sparkle and the way they flare out as if an extention of the cross. Very dramatic. Alison

very nice work, if there is a single word to describe the mood of this shots its "strong".
