Makes me want to hop onto I5 and head south! (Actually, at this time of year, I would want to do that anyway.) You have a beautiful sky, an easily identified silhouette and detail in the dark water. Wonderful!

Hi Lori

Glad to hear from you, thanks for commenting. I've been homeless these last two months and the three photos I put in my portfolio are about all I've come up with recently. With any luck, I close on a new house in New Mexico next week and can get back to normal.

Love this sunset, the ropes sure lead you right to the subject!

Dave

Hi Lori, how have you been? It's been a while, I guess...;) It was about time to pop in again and say hi to everybody.

What I like about this shot is how the hull and the ancor lines divide the image into tree parts The top and right segment, showing the colours of the (setting?) sun, the middle-lower segment, showing only the reflection of the radiant tones ofthe sky in the (deep blue) water, and then, of course, the hull of the ship itself, with it's subltle details. Good shot.

Cheers,

Hugo
