So you have snow by now, just as we do here. Nice perspective, and great clouds as usually on your pictures. But why is it called tree nursery? There are hardly any trees. Looks more like the Hungarian Puszta. Cheers, György

Györgyi, the tiny trees at the horizon belong to a tree nursery, quite small with this perspective.

György Szönyi   {K:8347} 12/16/2005
Yes, I did see them but they seemed to be too few for a nursery. Anyway, nice pic. Gy.

Hi Carsten,

I like this one even more than the black and white one... at least as far as I can judge from the thumbnail (I cannot zoom into the picture). The sky is great and the hints of green color is perfect.

best wishes,
Thilo

Wow. It's hard for me to choose a favorite between them, Carsten. The moods are completely different in my eye; the B&W is foreboding, with primary emphasis on the snow, and the color draws you into the rich clouds.

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59796} 12/17/2005
I like this colourversion more, since the clouds take my attention in another way, attracted of the blue and then the yellow spot. The roads endless ongoing until the horizon ...and problably continuing after that - - all that make this one so good!

Cheers,
Jeanette

Very beautiful scene, colors, and fantastic sky Carsten!

The little tree nursery on the horizon may be too slight to bear the weight of the title! I much prefer the colour version. The B&W seems so threatening. The colour one makes me want to see what is over the horizon. The B&W one makes me want to turn around and run away. Excuse the emotional reaction. I have been drinking a little wine, and maybe it has gone to my head...

I like the composition and the colours. Very well done. I too prefer the colourversion, it shows the landscape, waiting for more snow.

mmm fine picture, but i think the B/W is sligthly better because it has a greater impact for me and the sensation of perspective converging to the road's end is more effective. here the colors are a bit distractring for that effect.. anyway this one is very sensitively coloured. great job on both!

what a lovely well composed and colorful landscape
