From here, Ram, you seem to be a little heavy on the magenta coloring. Have you calibrated your monitor lately?

Nice composition.

Certainly colorful although the colors seem a bit off. Also I'd crop out that top piece of washed out sky. The reeds on the bottom frame the photo nicely.

Good detail, but the colors are really wacky..! Something got wrong with the calibration?

I appreciate your comments. The color is off. I am not sure how to caliberate my monitor so I can adjust the color properly.

Ram, I had a similar problem with my coloring on my photo. I'm not sure what happened there. I might try scanning it in again to see. Otherwise this photo is nice. I think I might have cropped in a little closer to add more contrast and then added a little more of the road and sky in, but otherwise I really enjoy the shot. Of course, cropping in too close would mean taking out those wonderful little wavy things in the foreground. Can't think of what they are really called -- anyhow, My mom is originally from N.C. ,but we always see the flat part. It is nice to see the hills of N.C.!

That would be a good question for the Forums, Ram! :-)

I can't find the website that I used, nor can I find the comment left on one of my images that pointed me in the right direction.

To calibrate your monitor, check out the article on this site about the very topic: http://www.usefilm.com/articles/calibration/

Lovely shot. I too would prefer to eliminate the little piece of sky and would also like to have seen a bit more of the foreground reeds.
