Nice expression, and good B&W/ toning as always ;-)
BUt would you pls explain the somewhat cryptic title ?

Cheers

Carsten

David Hofmann   {K:23830} 12/17/2005
Thanks Carsten! B&W saved this photo. It has nice light, but the colors were not too exciting. So B&W was the perfect fix for that :)

I made a couple of photos of her and numbered them, hence the title, but not very creative, I agree, I'll change it :)

Gregory McLemore   {K:25553} 12/17/2005
Lovely tones and very natural pose on this keeper, well done.

Dina Marie   {K:1717} 12/17/2005
this is exceptional. I love the body language and your toning is lovely.

Mort Gage   {K:2733} 12/17/2005
superb tones and tack shapr clarity AS ALWAYS. cute candid expression...my favorite is the little finger point.

CorrieLynn Jacobsen   {K:9882} 12/17/2005
Beautiful and soft-i love the way the light is just touching the top of the hair.

Pat Fruen   {K:12073} 12/17/2005
The body language makes this one...the finger point and the knees together. Great expression you caught, too. Very nicely done.

Hanggan Situmorang   {K:37824} 12/18/2005
So cute! Looks like he's giving his own speech, David..:)

Claude Tenot   {K:9949} 12/19/2005
Une très jolie photo David..bien cadrée et richement composée...

What do you think about the new UF site ?

Lynne Stacey   {K:649} 12/19/2005
Beautiful toning and I just love her expression. I noticed you used ISO 640, everytime I bump up the ISO, I notice terrible grain when I don't want it. Then, I use NeatImage to smooth out the grain. Am I missing something regarding my ISO settings? Thanks!

David Hofmann   {K:23830} 12/19/2005
thanks Lynne, I think you are doing it exactly right. The higher the sensitivity the more noise you will get. Its just a physical limitation. I used Noise Ninja here, too. I'm not too worried about noise, though. You can see it if you zoom in to 100% but in a real print or when you scale it down show shere here or other web sites it doesn't show.

David Hofmann   {K:23830} 12/19/2005
thanks Claude!

I'm not very impressed with the new usefilm. I had higher expectations, especially new features and I don't like a couple of things they did.

Lynne Stacey   {K:649} 12/19/2005
Thanks so much for your reply, I couldn't understand how people were able to capture such wonderful images at high ISO readings. What a relief, I'm doing it right, lol! You've been on a roll lately with your portraits, very inspiring!
Thanks again!
Lynne

Thanks very much Pat, I really like this shot and I'm glad you see it the same way! :)
