hi jeanette. this is a lovely photograph, very evocative, tells a story about this lonely boat moored in the waters. great off-centre composition, the gold of the sky and the lines of the woods contrasts nicely with the unbroken blue of the water. great work, as usual. have a merry christmas.

You caught the scene with a low angled sun, which always makes for a nice, warm view. The theme is certainly apparent. The horizon is straight, despite the wavy lines of the hills. Beautiful.

Very nice Jeanette, I love the golden glow of the sky. Really nice composition with the main focal point being the spot where the bridge, line of trees and boat all point towards-makes me think of a sun and its rays. Looks like a very peaceful place, nicely captured~

this capture reflects the atmosphere of that place very well.. i think the soft focus might also work well here..

Hi Jeanette, Classic lake view; using the perspective of the jetty to lead the eye towards the horizon. Furthermore, the contrast between cool tones and warm tones is very important here. As usuual very well composed, nice touch of placing the jetty in the top half of the image. I like this.

Que belleza de fotografia, me recuerda el sur de mi pais, me encanta ese tono magico que da la luz al atardecer.
La composicion es espectacular y el encuadre maravilloso....pareciera que es una historia, una historia contada por mil luces y reflejos.

There is a wise mixture of warmth and cold in this picture. The amazing thing is that the warm lights (the sky in the background and the light on the jetty) are somehow inspiring anxiety and the cold blue water inspires calm and serenity!
The observer feels being in solidarity with the lonely boat as the very foreground of the picture is the blue water: the observer is floating on water like the boat. They both look the horizon with anxiety...
An artistic composition, for me, is one that simultaneously inspires a superposition of interpretations and feelings. This picture seems to have acheived this in great simpicity. Thanks for sharing.
