the sepia tones make it seem so simple and clean, but the log with branches adds this crazy contrast. and being silhouetted yet so close to the washout of the sun, it kind of creates this battle for the eye of dark against light.
needless to say, i really like it giulio! and i think it would look awesome as a giant poster.

This looks great in B&W, also. Although I prefer the colloured version, this has appeal as it is dramatic and moody.
