It's really beautiful. I loved this...

A nice, simple, well done photograph here Marysue. The tones are very good here. Feel free to have more "momentary lapses"!

Love the simplicity in this Mary.
The DOF is just right and the DOF was well choosen.

The SIMPLICITY is just right :)

Jim Gamble   {K:11968} 1/3/2003
As the others said before me simplicity is what defines this photo and thats what I like about it.

Wonderfully simple. The depth of field is excellent. I would have liked to see the pin on the right with a shirt clipped to it, with the shirt going off the comp to the right where another pin holds up the other end. But it's outstanding the way it is, as well!

good stuff Mary!

A simple yet effective composition. I'd like to see the foremost clothespin a bit more in focus though.

So I says to my one legged wife. Peg I says. Full marks on this one for sure! Love the idea and the background. But hang it all, I wish the depth of field had stretched just enough to include all three of these lovely pegs.

Thanks to everyone for their remarks...this one was fun for me. I may have an opportunity to reshoot this in a few weeks, and will try to get more of the pegs in focus as a comparison. And John, say hi to Peg for me! :)

Ahhh... another person who takes pictures of pegs! I too had a lapse whilst in the garden and found art in washing! Lovely shot, I agree with most comments below and can say nothing more!

Great composition!

Mary Sue, I thank you for your comment on my "reformed smoker". My significant other took this snapshot
to backup your intuition about the shot. At the time it was taken, I was a Mangaer of a large Financial Institution up here
in Canda eh! I had to complete 34 staff reports that weekend and get away from phones and contact. Although there was quality
time I did accomplish my mission over 3 days. I have made many changes in my life and one of them was moving from Vancouver
back to a small prairie town (POP 632) and I am now a mobile Investment Broker. Should have done it years ago.

I now enjoy hiking, phototaking and when I am in the mood, working on a book.

You are a psychic, perhaps? Did you see the geranium I posted this morning? The green background is a blur of the lawn
next to my home. I liked your clothes pegs. As you attest, the pegs could use some more focus. I like it.
Cheers
